Parslows advise Jersey post group in relation to its purchase of the freight and delivery group, Woodside Logistics
Woodside Logistics has established warehousing and shipping depots and operations in Jersey, Guernsey and the UK and has extensive logistics experience across a range of industry sectors for both commercial and domestic customers.
The acquisition of Woodside Logistics will complement not only Jersey Post’s established logistics network through UK-based premium logistics specialists Fraser Freight, but also the other elements of Jersey Post’s global network including established European networks and shipping options, customs clearance expertise and other partners. This will greatly increase the Jersey Post Group reach for imports and exports and provide significantly more choice for customers both on and off Island.
David Hill of Parslows who leads the Parslows Jersey Post team said: “Our team has gradually built an impressive track record assisting clients such as Jersey Post with cross jurisdictional, complex legal work. Myself and the team at Parslows are delighted to have assisted Jersey Post again regarding their ambitious domestic and international strategy. It is a really positive move for Jersey Post and it also highlights the depth of services and expertise that Parslows can offer the Island as a whole both within and outside of the local market”.
Tim Brown, Jersey Post Group Chief Executive said: “The acquisition of Woodside Logistics enables us to complete our strategic objective of providing a unique end-to-end logistics solution for customers across the globe, it will also bring increased competition, greater choice and an enhanced freight service for our valued local customers.”
