Carl, an experienced Jersey Advocate and Notary Public, is the founder and a Partner of Parslows LLP.
He has overall responsibility for the firm’s Property Department and the Jersey Business Legal Services Department. With over thirty years’ experience advising both corporates and individuals, Carl has acted on a wide range of commercial and high-value property matters.

Carl advises a diverse client base, including local owner-managed businesses, SMEs, developers, lenders, investors and private clients. He is particularly recognised for his expertise in supporting Jersey businesses and entrepreneurs, bringing practical commercial insight alongside deep understanding of Jersey law. His experience includes acting for numerous multinational clients on complex, large-scale and strategically significant transactions.
Known for his calm, thoughtful and solutions-focused approach, Carl combines technical skill with a genuine commitment to client service. Whether advising on commercial property acquisitions, business structuring, lending, development or residential property matters, he focuses on delivering clear, pragmatic advice that enables clients to make confident decisions.
Background
As an Advocate of the Royal Court, Carl brings extensive professional experience to his practice. Prior to founding Parslows in 2011, he held senior roles at leading Jersey law firms, including Bedell Cristin, Sinels and Ogier, giving him a strong foundation in both contentious and non-contentious work.
Carl has also played a significant role within the Island’s legal community, serving on several Law Society of Jersey committees, including as Chair of both the Education and Legal Resources Sub-Committee and the Marketing and Public Relations Sub-Committee, and acting as Hon. Librarian of the Society.
