I head up the Private client department at Parslows Jersey. My main area of practice is in family law, specialising in divorce, ancillaries, matters concerning children, Probate and Wills & Succession matters and I have over 11 years’ experience in such matters.
I advise on all areas of family law including divorce, separation, dissolution of civil partnerships, as well as advising on finances, including high net worth matters. I also have additional experience in advising clients in relation to a number of complicated private law children issues relating to residence, contact, parental responsibility and non-removal for the jurisdiction.
I head up our Property department and Jersey Business legal services department. I am also a Jersey Notary Public.
Parslows Property department provides specialist services to both residential and commercial clients in all aspects of sale purchase and leasing arrangements. The Jersey Local Business department works across a number of legal areas, such as advising on business formations and on commercial contracts, as well as on commercial leases, employment law or HR issues. In fact, my team and I can assist in practically any area of law that a Jersey business requires legal assistance.
I head up our Litigation department. My main areas of practice are in personal injury, employment law, criminal law and contentious probate matters. I have over thirty years’ experience within the finance and legal industry and have been practising as a Jersey Advocate for 5 years. I regularly represent clients before the Courts and Tribunals of the Island of Jersey together with mediations in regard to such issues.
I studied law at the University of Liverpool where I obtained a 1st in my degree, graduating in July 2016. I have worked predominantly in family law over the last two years. I provide legal advice on divorce and ancillaries, with a particular focus on private children law matters.
More recently, having joined Parslows Jersey in March 2018, I have developed my areas of expertise to also include litigation, primarily working on matters concerning personal injury.
I manage our Jersey Probate and Wills & Succession Department. I specialise in Jersey probate applications, Fast Track Probate and Attorney Executor probate applications and administration. I also deal with lasting power of attorney and power of attorney applications and curatorships.
Denise worked for over 19 years as finance manager for another pan-island law firm before taking up the role at Parslows.
Cathie has many years of previous experience in the Finance and Law industries, having held down administrative positions in many large local finance corporations.
Sue works in support of our Litigation Department as well as having responsibility for Credit Control. Having worked for several years in local law firms, she has developed an in-depth and valuable knowledge of the I.T. systems in use.
