Parslows ongoing commitment to Jersey Stroke Support
Back from their London to Paris fund raising cycle for Jersey Stroke Support, Carl and Eddie’s fund raising for the local charity is to continue. From the 1 October, 2022 to the end of the year, Parslows are going to donate 20% of the fees received from all instructions from clients wishing to put a Lasting Power of Attorney in place straight to the charity.
A Lasting Power of Attorney enables you to plan how your financial affairs, health and wellbeing will be dealt with should you lose mental capacity. For more information please see our article which also recently featured in the Jersey Evening Post.
More than 130 people each year in Jersey are known to suffer a stroke with many more, including family members, affected by a diagnosis of stroke. Jersey Stroke Support was borne initially from the gap identified in Jersey for the need to offer post stroke reviews and support to those people diagnosed with stroke. The stated aims of the charity are to provide support and assist stroke survivors and their families after a stroke and help keep them safe and to raise the profile on the Island of Jersey about stroke and stroke prevention.
